About

At Singatha Centre, we believe that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. Our name, meaning “to embrace” in Zulu, reflects our core commitment—to hold space for every unique mind and journey.

We are a tutor and therapy centre dedicated to children aged 2–10 presenting with Autism, ADHD, Syndromes, learning and developmental delays. We offer early intervention in a nurturing environment where neurodiversity is honoured and growth is guided with care. Through personalised learning, developmental support, and therapeutic interventions, we help each child thrive at their own pace.

With a team of compassionate teachers and therapists, along with a holistic approach rooted in acceptance Singatha is more than a centre – it’s a sanctuary of growth, connection, and possibility.

Singatha Centre – Embracing Every Mind.

Embrace Every Mind

We enrol learners with Autism, ADHD, Syndromes, Learning and Developmental Delays. We are an early intervention centre that takes ages 2 to 10 years old.

Grow with Gentle Guidance

We believe in nurturing development through our multidisciplinary therapeutic approach integrated into a school day providing a distinctive, child-focused method that meets each learner at their current level, supporting their development in a nurturing and regulated manner.

Celebrate Neurodiversity

At Singatha, we see neurodiversity as a strength. We celebrate different ways of thinking, learning, and expressing, and we commit to cultivating an environment where all children are seen, supported, and empowered.

Horse Riding

Horse riding therapy helps children improve balance, coordination, core strength, and emotional regulation through guided interaction with horses. The natural rhythm of riding, along with the calming presence of the animals, creates a powerful space for growth and connection.

Action Ball

Action Ball focuses on physical development through structured movement and exercise. It helps children build strength, coordination, and body awareness—supporting motor skills, posture, and confidence through playful movement-based activities.

Music Therapy

Music therapy uses rhythm, melody, and movement to support emotional expression, communication, and social interaction. Through instruments, songs, and sound play, learners explore creativity while building confidence and connection.

Speech & Language Therapy

Speech therapy supports children with communication—whether it’s learning to speak, understanding language, improving clarity, or using non-verbal ways to express themselves. It’s about helping every child find their voice and connect with the world around them.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps children build the skills they need for everyday life—like dressing, eating, writing, and playing. Through fun, hands-on activities, children strengthen their fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and independence.
